May Community Center Presents a Veterans Recognition and Thanksgiving Luncheon

veterans recognition

Join May Community Center for a Veterans Recognition and Thanksgiving luncheon Friday, November 11 at 11 a.m . To honor the brave men and women that served in the armed forces, the Hargrave High School Junior ROTC will perform a special program. Invite a friend, relative, or neighbor to reflect on this great country, the sacrifices of many, and individual blessings of family and friendship.

A traditional Thanksgiving luncheon, including all the trimmings, is catered by Ben's Chuck Wagon. Homemade pecan pie and pumpkin pie is provided courtesy of Rosemont Assisted Living Community of Kingwood. A $7 suggested donation, payable in advance, helps defray the cost of the catered lunch. Space is limited to the first 150 people, so please sign up at the Center by Friday, November 5.
