May Community Center is accepting multiple varieties of canned soup for area HISD families Monday, January 9 through Monday, January 30.
The "Soup-er Bowl" drive is the perfect opportunity for community members to help families in need by providing them with a hot bowl of soup, a seasonal staple.
All donations benefit Huffman's First Baptist Church food kitchen. Monetary donations are also acceptable. For more information and details about this community outreach program, please call (281) 324-3373 or come by the Center.
May Community Center's free intergenerational programs are part of Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner R. Jack Cagle's educational and recreational commitment to Harris County residents. May Community Center is a Precinct 4 community center located at 2100 Wolf Road, Huffman. Center hours are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information regarding classes or other Center programs, please call (281) 324-3373. Harris County Precinct 4 programs serve people of all ages, regardless of socioeconomic level, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or physical ability. Anyone requiring special assistance to participate in any program should contact May Community Center. An adult must accompany children under the age of 18. Childcare is not provided at any Precinct 4 facility, and children are not allowed in classes in which they are not eligible to participate.
