Precinct 4 Offers Hallettsville Kolache Fest

Precinct 4 invites individuals 50 years and better on a trip to the Hallettsville Kolache Fest Saturday, Sept. 24 at 8 a.m.

In the mid-1800s, immigrants from Germany and Czechoslovakia began settling in the Halletsville area, bringing with them the traditions of their homeland. The annual Kolache Festival is a tribute to the rich heritage alive in the area today! Fruit-filled, sausage-filled, warm, or cold, enjoy all the varieties the festival has to offer. The day’s events include a car show, horseshoe and washer tournament, live music, baking demonstration, and arts and crafts booths.

Enjoy lunch on your own at the festival from one of the many food vendors. Transportation is provided from parking lot E of Tomball Regional Medical Center at 605 Holderrieth Blvd. For additional information and registration, please call Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program at 281- 893-3726. Transportation is provided for individuals 50 years and better through Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program.
