Harris County Precinct 4’s Senior Adult Program and Fun4Seniors invite seniors 50 and better to explore the lush gardens and beautifully decorated estate of the Museum of Fine Arts’ Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens Wednesday, April 29 from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Participants should meet at CHI St. Luke’s Health – The Vintage Hospital, located at 20171 Chasewood Park Drive Houston, 77070, before the bus departs at 10:15 a.m.
Once the home of celebrated philanthropist Ima Hogg, the 14-acre property in River Oaks showcases one of the finest displays of American decorative arts and paintings, including furnishings, silver, and ceramics along with beautifully maintained gardens created for outdoor living and entertaining.
Lunch is available for cash only at Cleburne Cafeteria. Each participant is responsible for the cost of their meal. A prepaid, non-refundable $11 suggested donation must be received within one week of making a reservation. Checks are payable to Fun4Seniors and should be mailed to Precinct 4’s Senior Adult program at 1731 Hugh Road, Houston, Texas 77067.
