Do you believe in the power of prayer? Have you felt the desire for evidence of a physical impact of prayer? The Crossover Project's Kingwood Healing Room is offering a healing room training for five weeks beginning July 10thand ending August 7th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Nathaniel Center in Kingwood, Texas.
The Kingwood Healing Room was founded in 2009 by Mitch and Rozalie Jerome of the Crossover Project. Rozalie had lost faith and did not believe in physical healing after her pastor died from cancer. However, after a word from God while on a trip to Germany, the Jeromes' were obedient and founded a healing room in Kingwood, Texas, along with Peter Loth, a former healing room pastor for the International House of Prayer. The first Houston area training was held with 85 people in attendance.
Today the weekly healing room sessions are powered by over 25 active volunteer prayer ministers for healing who come together from multiple churches and varying denominations. It is a parachurch effort. Hundreds of people have come through the Healing Room in the past three years including testimonies of healings backed by doctors' reports.

According to Rozalie Jerome, the primary requirement for those desiring to be a healing room volunteer is this: "a teachable spirit and a belief that the Word and the promises of God are real. Even if they don't have a lot of faith, it's okay. They can come and watch as their faith is built."

The training will teach the practical side of praying for physical healing with a team approach rooted in the Word of God found Biblical scriptures. Each session will include teaching, a question and answer session, testimonies, and a practice session. Graduates of the course will be eligible to apply to be a volunteer prayer minister at the Kingwood Healing Room.
Healing Room Training Information
The Healing Room training will be held at the Nathaniel Center, located at 804 Russell Palmer, Kingwood, TX 77339
The five week training course will be held on July 10th, 17th, 24th, 31st, and August 7th from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The final day will include a prayer impartation and graduation. Registration is $75 and includes the cost of books, materials, and training. Ages 12 through 18 must attend with an adult. For churches desiring to start a healing room in their own congregation, registration fees will be discounted to $50 per person for a group of five or more. The registration deadline is Monday, July 9th.

About the Kingwood Texas Healing Room
The Kingwood Healing Room is held weekly on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Nathaniel Center located at 804 Russell Palmer Road. Visitors can request prayer for physical ailments by trained intercessors in a spirit filled, nondenominational atmosphere. The Healing Room is an outreach of The Crossover Project.
