Hometown pride will take on a new hue as the green of the Kingwood Park Panthers will be joining the Mustang blue when Kingwood Park High School officially opens its doors in August.
KPHS, also known as "K-Park," will transform from a ninth grade campus and join Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita and Quest as Humble ISD high schools.
Slated to be a 4A school with 1,600 to 1,700 students, the new high school will bridge the gap in school size between the three other 5A Humble ISD high schools with approximately 3,000 students for 9th through 12th and Quest High School with an enrollment of 400.
