Humble, TX - Walden on Lake Houston Country Club recently began renovations to its golf course. Once complete, the project will have renovated tee boxes on the course's 4 Par 3 Tee Boxes, removed 5 Bunkers and renovated 6 other Bunkers. Its contractor, Raven Golf, has built and/or renovated courses throughout the country working with the top names of golf including Tom Fazio, Davis Love and Arnold Palmer Design. The construction phase of the project will take approximately 3 weeks while the grow in of the grass will take another 4 weeks.
This project is the latest in a Capital Program under the direction of its Board of Governors that has spent over a half million dollars updating the facility. In addition to the Course Renovations, the club is finishing a $250,000 three phase project with their Swimming Pool by replacing and expanding its pool deck. Previous projects included the renovation of the entry way and bar which overlooks Lake Houston in 2009 and last year's renovation of the 19th Hole Bar and Grill.
