Mark your calendar for January 23rd, and make plans to attend. It's time for the AABY Foundation's 2009 Cocktail Party with this year's Honorary Chairman U.S. Congressman Ted Poe. This event will be held at The Nathaniel Center where you can and are encouraged to bring your pups!
There will be a live and silent auction, with emcee Jill Bagley-Curran as well as, great food by A Grand Affair, music by "These Guys Here" Pet Photos by Charles Falk Photography and mood music by pianist Larry Worhol. The décor will be furnished by Danell's Gifts and Florals.
This is your chance to combine a lot of fun, dancing, eating, drinking and a little bit of tail wagging bidding on some great auction items including several custom dog houses created and built by local artists and builders such as, Jaeger Custom Homes, Vintage Builders, and Art Dog Studios.
All proceeds from the event will go to the operations of the AABY Thrift Store as well as supplies and upkeep for the Kingwood AABY Bark Park and the AABY SOS (Serving Our Seniors) program.
A program, with the help of several area Veterinarians, where the AABY Foundation is assisting seniors with pets with much needed vet care This assistance allows many seniors to keep their loving pets and or adopt a new pet which enhances the quality of both their lives.
