Vacation Bible Schools Schedule for 2016

Vacation Bible School always makes summer a little more fun.  Below is a VBS 2016 schedule being held in the Kingwood and Humble areas.  

For more than a decade, Janet Winkler has led hospitality inside Mercer’s volunteer cottage, welcoming volunteers and ensuring they received quality meals during large events. Originally though, Winkler started out in a much different role. Winkler first came to Mercer in 2005 to take the Master Gardener class with her husband Louis, and eventually the Texas Gulf Coast Gardening class.

Precinct 4’s Mercer Botanic Gardens Reopens

Mercer Botanic Gardens’ east side, which encompasses 20 acres of versatile botanic gardens that showcases the region’s largest collection of native and cultivated plants, is reopening to the public Wednesday, May 25 after being closed more than four weeks due to severe flood damage.
